QuotaCanary is free, open-source software for checking API credit balances. Use only credentials you are authorized to use and follow each vendor’s terms.

Checks and alerts

Checks and alerts require the app to be running and your Mac awake and online. Vendor changes, network failures, permissions and software errors can interrupt them. Keep another way to check critical balances.

Keys and updates

Vendor keys stay in the Mac’s login Keychain and go directly to their vendors, never to QuotaCanary servers.

If you opt in to update checks, the app sends its app version, macOS version and chip to the signed update feed.

Source and self-hosting

The source is provided under the MIT license, including its warranty disclaimer. If you run the web version yourself, you operate its server, database, credentials and polling schedule.

Stopping use

You can stop using the app at any time. Use Erase local data to remove its stored credentials and files before uninstalling if you want those removed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
